White Sage Smudge Bundles

Locally grown on the Hotchkiss Flower Farm in Hotchkiss Alberta. Grown without the use of chemicals. The plants watered from dugouts in the property. The Hotchkiss Flower Farm is surrounded on all 4 side by bison pasture making the agriculture impact on the water source very minimal. Guinea Fowl, frogs and ladybugs are used to combat any pest pressure as well as the use of regenerative practices to enriched the soil in non till beds. Hand wrapped bundles are hung to dry. Although the species of sage is a true white sage used for smudging, the medicine of these bundles is very different compared to sage grown in warmer climates. Many of our customers prefer this locally grown sage because it holds the energy of our climate. Each plant is lovingly started by seed every year and grown among rows of cut flowers. One customer says that "it has absorbed and radiates all the beauty of the north and has the potency to withstand and dispel the most harshest of energy, just like it can withstand our harsh climate and still be beautiful".
